"Love has never been a popular movement and no-one's ever wanted really to be free. The world is held together, really it is held together, by the love and the passion of very few people. Otherwise of course you can despair, walk around any city any afternoon and look around you. What you've gotta remember is that what you are looking at is also you. Everybody you're looking at is also you." -James Baldwin
We use these words by Bell Hooks and James Baldwin as the standard of which we use the power of our stories and our humanity. We choose love even when it's not the popular choice, becuse it's the necessary choice. In a world where it's easy to avoid feeling the truth, we choose love because it's the only truth.
